The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This has been quite a long year, just as so many of them have seemed. Of course, in reality, the sequence of days confined by 2014 were just as long as any year experienced by any of us...For me 2014 spanned three addresses in three different counties, losing one family yet gaining a better one (coinciding with the growing understanding that true family has nothing to do with bloodlines), a lot of arguments, a few mistakes but in the end finding comfort in love and acceptance. Am I babbling? What am I getting at? Am I about to get all clique with some 'I'm leaving 2014 in the past and becoming a new me in 2015, this will be my year' bullshit? No...Tomorrow, today would become the past whether the last number of the dates assigned to them were the same or not. Am I on a journey, seeking a new chapter? Of course, but if I cage my ambition within the assumed "new leaf" of a new year...how much would I be willing to limit myself? Today is just a day, tomorrow will be just a day...some feel longer than others but they all hold the same potential, no matter what the date is.

Amen to that! You really do got it girl! ;) We can look at our past and dwell on it, OR we can look at it and learn from it and make ourselves better in the long run. I know that's what I'm gonna do too! Good for you :)
